Intel Hosts 3 Part Series of Diversity Recruitment Events for HBCU Grads & Black Professionals with HBCU CONNECT! (10359 hits)

Wednesday, August 25, Intel and HBCU Connect partnered together to host the first of three technology development career series events. With a specific focus on design and technology automation, attendees were able to get a clear idea of how those areas impact Intel and how, they too, could become a part of that impact.

At the virtual event, HBCU Connect members and career candidates heard from leaders in the field, including:
  • Raphael Soetan – Principal Engineer
  • Ramon Avila – Sr. Principal Engineer, Technology Development/Design Enablement
  • Jack Desroses – Process Design Kit Program Manager
  • Carrie Niemac – Technical Program Manager

With 185 attendees connected to hear the keynote and panel discussion, information was shared on why Intel’s company values were so important. Values such as, the capability to be fearless, inclusion of all employees, maintaining a customer obsessed attitude, allowing room to agree to disagree with unity as the backbone of conversations, giving space for truth and transparency, and providing a quality standard of work.

Feedback from viewers were unanimous in thought as they were extremely interested in opportunities with Intel.
