Greetings Everyone:
I am a new member of the Preaching Woman network and would like to share some thoughts with you about what I believe God is saying to the church in 2009.
I distinctly heard the voice of the Lord say "I am bringing the ministries that have been in obscurity to the forefront beginning this year because the people of God are ready to hear the truth."
I believe that the Spirit of God is promoting individuals who don't mind becoming "Agents of Change" and raising the standard of Christian living to a higher level by presenting a gospel of accountability to the believer. No longer is there church as usual, but we are in a time where we must present "church unusual."
No more money drives and fashion shows. No more baby mama drama messages or dead beat dad bashing. But the wholesome, unperverted Word of the true and living God must be preached for the saving of souls and the changing of lives. The church must become "Agents of Change."
We, as parents, try to instill within our children the concept of aspiring to reach higher than the status quo, desiring to be all that they can be. I believe that our heavenly Father is requiring the same from us.
Thank God for Preaching Women and other venues such as this, who are willing to connect those of like precious faith together to support, inspire and encourage men and women to ..."go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right. Matthew 20:4b
I'm willing, are you?
Let's Aspire Higher to do a greater work for the Lord.
